Farnam Street w/ Adam Robinson

I first heard Adam speak at a Tim Ferriss event at the 92nd Street Y in New York. I was impressed with him at the time, but I didn’t think much of it. Since then, I’ve heard a number of interviews with Adam, and I continue to find him more and more interesting. He started the Princeton Review, is a chess life master, and now runs a global macro investing firm that caters to the world’s largest hedge funds. Beyond any resume bullets, he’s fascinating to listen to and has provided me with a number of points that I now consistently try to remember (most recently on how not to be stupid). Shane’s podcast (part 1, part 2) covers a ton of ground and touches on some great topics such as: how we actually learn, the problem with how we view intelligence, the future of AI, and how he thinks about markets.

I would also recommend his podcasts (2016 92Y event, 2017, 2018, 2018 #2) with Tim Ferriss and finding him on Twitter @IamAdamRobinson.
